(Comparative Search Help Page)
Use this page to perform various different statistical tests across specific sub-populations.
1. Comparative Tests:

Select Test you wish to perform:

R-Test:

Spearman:

T-Test:

Wilcoxon Rank Test:

2. R-Test (Pearson) Threshold OR Spearman Correlation Threshold:
Return all genes which have a Pearson Coefficient greater than
AND whose Pearson Coefficient has a confidence P-value better than
- A threshold of .70 indicates a Pearson correlation coefficient greater than 0.70 or less than -0.70.
- Valid Pearson correlation coefficient values are between -1 and 1.
- P-values of Pearson Coefficients (R-values) indicate how unlikely a given correlation coefficient, r, will occur given NO relationship between the two compared variables. This P-value is dependant on the R-value itself and the sample size used to generate it.
3. T-Test Threshold or Wilcoxon Threshold (P-Value):
Raw P-Value Adjusted Q-Value Permuted P-Value

Threshold set at:
A p-value of 0.001 indicates a 99.9% confidence interval.
Permutation p-values only exist for the T-Test comparisons (not for Wilcoxon)
4. Restrict search by GO Keyword:
5. Sorting of results:
For R-Test searches: Sort by Min P-value MAX R-score MIN R-score Chromosomal Location Affx_Id

For T-Test searches: Sort by
